AWeb-II 3.1 Patch File (680805 bytes)Use this patch to update your AWeb-II 3.0 (or 3.0b) program to AWeb-II 3.1.You must have installed AWeb-II version 3.0 (or 3.0b) previously before you can install this patch. To install the patch, double-click the "Install-AWeb31" icon. The installation procedure will need the original disks from the AWeb-II 3.0 (or 3.0b) distribution. After installation, you will have to enter the registration number (found in the distribution) and your name again the first time you run AWeb-II. The installation procedure will give you the option of making a backup copy of the executables that are going to be changed. You can select a drawer where the existing files will be copied. If the installation fails for some reason, you can restore the previous version by copying the executables back to their original location. New in this version (compared with AWeb 3.0b)

Version 42.76 of layout.gadget has some minor background refresh problems. If your system has this problem, it can be fixed by reverting to version 42.54.
AnimGIF 1.10 (64k)
This brand new plugin adds the possibility to view inlined animated gifs and normal gifs in a progressive manner to the AWeb-II 3.0 browser which has the API plugin system.
The plugin is shareware, but contains all the functionality of the full version. However you will see a text now and then inside the animations saying it's a demo version. By registering for a low shareware fee you will get the full version sent to you by e-mail. Updates of the plugin will be free and sent to you automatically. See the documentation for full details.

For users who registered the shareware version of AWeb, it's author Yvon Rozijn (yrozijn@noord.bart.nl) has arranged for registered users of the shareware versions to upgrade to the commercial version 3.0 of AWeb-II for the same fee as existing v2.x commercial customers. Shareware versions are numbered 1.x, starting with 1.3.
The AWeb-II v2.x to v3.0 Upgrade cost is $20 US or $27 CAN, plus $5 shipping. Canadian orders should also include $2.24 GST for a total of $34.24.
